Donna Jean Clark, 57, of Irwin County, Georgia died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Irwin County Hospital in Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2013, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald with the Rev. Ronald Reese officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Clark was born June 17, 1956, in Fitzgerald to the late Eugene Hoth and Donnette Barnes Hoth Mobley. She was a former seamstress for H.R. Kaminsky & Sons and a former receptionist for Lowell Packing Company. She lived the greater part of her life in Fitzgerald, having moved to Irwin County in 2004. She loved animals, including her dog: Molly. She enjoyed reading and watching game shows and “stories” on television.
She is survived by a sister-in-law: Vickie Hoth of Irwin County; her niece: Kandi and Eric Owens of Irwin County; a great-niece: Mackenzie “Mak” Owens of Irwin County; a special friend: Floyd “Lemuel” Westberry of Jacksonville, Florida; two stepsons: Eric & Megan Clark of Hazlehurst and David Clark, Jr. of Cordele; two step-grandchildren: Hunter Clark and Christian Clark; her stepmother: Doris Hoth of Nebraska City, Nevada; and a stepsister: Pam Oneal of Smith Valley, Nevada. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: David “Danny” Hoth.
