Alan James Drozd, 51, died July 26, 2013 at Bedford Village Nursing Home following a valiant battle with cancer.
Born in Gloucester, MA, the son of the late Joseph J. and Shirley M. (Morong) Drozd, he lived in Lynn most of his life before moving to New Bedford.
He is survived by a multitude of friends who loved him dearly. Alan had a gentle spirit and his desire was to help others. He loved the beach, the peacefulness of the ocean and longed to return to Gloucester. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Alan was abundantly thankful to you all!
