Seraphina (Raposa) Sebastiao, 84 of Fall River, passed away July 27, 2013 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Sebastiao and the daughter of the late Manuel and Angelina (dos Santos) Raposa. Prior to retiring, Seraphina worked as a Cloth Inspector for Quaker Fabric Co. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Kenneth Sebastiao, wife Dawn of Fall River, Beverly Craveiro, husband David of New Hampshire, and Karen Sebastiao, fiancé Robert Marshall of Fall River; her brother: William Raposa of Portsmouth, RI; grandchildren: Jacob, Jared, & Justin Sebastiao; a great grandson: Eli Sebastiao; several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel, Mary, Lena, Angelina Raposa, and Beatrice Silveira.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on WEDNESDAY here at 8:30 A.M. followed by a mass of Christian burial in Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. at 9:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
