Jean H. Cushman age 79 of Canton passed away July 26th at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Rumford, ME, she attended Canton Schools and lived most of her life in Canton. She was a devoted wife and mother and worked as a Home Health Aid for several years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, reading, travelling, Italian Food and all of her cats. Beloved wife of the late John W. Sr. Mother of Donna M. and Cheryl A. Cushman both of Norwood and John W. Jr. and his wife Cindy of Stoughton. Sister of Patricia McCarthy of Canton, Joseph Nardelli of Norwood and the late Joseph Sakalaukus, Rose Bither, Eileen Babbitt and Thomas Sakalaukus. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Wednesday morning at 10:30.
