Cynthia Ann (Sherman) Severse, 65, of Monponsett, died unexpectedly on Tuesday July 23rd in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital .Cynthia is survived by her husband of 46 years William A. Severse, III of Monponsett, Tracy Ann (Severse) Hall and her daughter TylerAnne of Florida, Nicole Ann (Severse) Heim and her husband Thomas and their children Isaac, Ian and Abigail of Uxbridge and Joshua Anthony Severse and his wife Laura and their children Theodore and Genevieve of Boston. She is also survived by her father and mother John H., Jr. and Rosemary (Phillips) Sherman of Bryantville, her brother John H. Sherman, III and his wife Virginia of East Bridgewater, her sisters Patricia Sherman of Stoughton and Evelyn Wamboldt and her husband Gary of Randolph; also many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Avon High School in 1965 and worked at the former BPM know Shaw’s in Randolph and for the Knapp Shoe Company in Brockton. Cynthia had been employed for the Burger King Corporation for 28 years before her retirement this past January.
Cynthia was an avid Rex Sox fan and enjoyed taking trips to New Orleans with her sister, Evie and trips to Las Vegas with her friends Carol and Tom Dever of Pembroke; also playing computers and reading.
Her services will be held on Monday July 29th at 10:00am in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St., (Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Her visitation will be held on Sunday July 28th from 2:00-6:00PM.
