Joanne M. Mottola, 71, of Derry, NH passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 12, 1942 in Lowell, MA a daughter of the late Henry L. Espinola and Edda M. (Reeves) Smith. Joanne enjoyed knitting, gardening and spending time outside. She was a member of the Lithuanian Club in Lowell, MA. Joanne was a loving, devoted, caring woman who was taken before she was done giving all she had to give.
She is survived by her four sons, Anthony, John, Pasquale Jr. and Paul, several grandchildren, one brother, Henry Espinola Jr, one nephew Henry Espinola, and her former husband Pasquale Mottola Sr. Also survived by Danna Vasquez, Carina Foley, Marie Espinola and Aunt Elbina Cardoza.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial mass will be held on Friday August 2, 2013 at 9:00am in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn Street, Burlington, MA with burial immediately following in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington, MA.
