MYSTIC: Lynn Colson of 76 Lamphere Road, Mystic died at home Saturday after a lengthy illness.
She was born in New Haven, CT on August 26, 1964, the daughter of Patricia (Niziolek) Colson of Hamden, CT and David Colson Sr. of Florida.
She is also survived by a brother, David Colson Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Hamden, two nephews Michael and Matthew Colson and a niece Lauren Pickett. She is also survived by her partner, Darlene Poe of Mystic and longtime friend and caregiver Debbie Brewer of Mystic. She is predeceased by her twin sister, Debra Pickett.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, at 11:00am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Pond Hill Road, North Haven, CT. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of SE Connecticut, PO Box 902, Uncasville CT 06382.
