MARTINI, Julia Mara (Doherty) At 101 years old, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Julia was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Ann F. (O'Leary) Doherty of Winchester. Last survivor of siblings Mary Ambrose, Paul Doherty and Agnes Sullivan. Loving wife of the late Edward H. Mara, Jr. and the late Paul J. Martini. Devoted mother of Jane McDonald and her huband Frank of Needham, Judith Carson and her husband Russell of N.Y., Edward H. "Ted" Mara and his wife Susan of Arlington and the late James P. Mara and his wife Judith Dashawetz of Westwood. Beloved grandmother of Frank Jr. and Joanne McDonald of Canton, Michael McDonald of Medfield, Laura and Richard Hasenfus of Needham, Cecily and Edward Carson of N.Y., Jennifer Mara of Kansas City, James Mara, Jr. of CA and Richard Barnes of Sandwich. Cherished "G.G." of Caroline, James and Teddy McDonald, Emma Jane and Timothy Hasenfus, Kaylin and Richie Barnes, Jordan Blake and James Mara, III. Julia was born in Winchester, MA, avid golfer and long time member of the Charles River Country Club, Newton.
