BOSTON, MA … Paulette E. (Wright) Briand, 66, of Fall River died, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston.
She was the life partner of Lynda Borge.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Paul E., Sr. and Rita (Ducharme) Wright and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She had been employed as a troubleshooter for Motorola Corporation.
Paulette enjoyed day trips to the casinos, walking, and loved being with her family.
Survivors include her life partner, 2 sons: Ernest Briand, Jr. and his wife Rachel of Somerset and Erik Briand of Stoughton, 2 sisters: Susan Cabral and her husband Paul, Gail Frazier, 2 brothers: Paul E. Wright Jr., and his companion Linda Butler, and Clifford A. Wright, Sr and his wife Maria all of Fall River, a granddaughter Felicia Briand, a great granddaughter Alaina, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of the late William Frazier.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday at 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis DeFrance Church, Buffington Street, Swansea at 10 AM. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 – 8 P.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the family.
