Judith Baker Chipley, 74, of Ocilla died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Private family services and burial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Chipley was born on September 6, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was the daughter of Francil Leland Baker and Lucile Cormick Baker, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Chipley; and one brother, Robert Baker. She was employed as a loan officer and was a member of Tampa United Methodist Church in Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Chipley is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael Ferrara of Arso Veivo, CA and Danny and Linda Ferrara of Springhill, FL; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Robin Swart of Springhill, FL and Jeannie and David Norris of Ocilla; one sister, Beverly Churchill of Sarasota, FL; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
