Joe died Sunday at the Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus from multiple long term health issues. He was born, raised and educated in Lawrence. He was the widower of the Late Doris Miner. Joe was a fun loving man who enjoyed fishing, movies, politics and spending time with family and friends, with a knack for making people laugh until they cried. He was most definitely the "coolest in the cooler" as he proclaimed himself. He is survived by his daugter Shonda Miner of Lowell, his sons Patrick Miner and Shamus Miner both of Lawrence. His brothers William Miner of NC and Michael Moran of Haverhill, seven grandchildren Evelyce, Adlila, Elvys, Demitri, Michael, Nanisa and Shamia and three great grandchildren Angelisse, Derek and Messiah, two nephews and one niece. He will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Friday, July 19th, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts.
His funeral service will be held at 5:30 in the Funeral Home and his burial will take place at a later date.
