Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church at 9am. Burial at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 3-6pm.
Obituary Information
Mrs. Grady died unexpectedly Monday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton. Born in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lily (Chadwick) Hurley. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and Brockton Business College. For many years she was a Teachers Aide in the Brockton School System, retiring in 1980 at which time she and her husband retired to Dunedin FL and spent summers in Falmouth. She enjoyed artwork, antique design and painting. In her youth, she enjoyed modeling at various association functions and singing in the chorus of local minstrel shows.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George E. Grady, her daughter Joan M. (Boudro) Cormier of Falmouth and Indian Harbor Beach, Florida, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a brother George Hurley of Oriental, NC.
She was the mother of the late Richard D. Grady, and sister of the late Leonard W. Hurley
