Christopher Alison “Chris” Porritt, 53, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Jewish Hospital. He was a self employed HAVC, former owner of Scooter Haven Country Club, a musician and member of Shively Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Harry Porritt and brother Tim Porritt. Survivors include his wife, Robin Ramser; mother, Allendale E. (Ferry) Porritt; brothers, Joe Porritt (Pat), Anthony Porritt (his twin brother); sisters, Alana Harris (Gary) and Sherry Harris (Sherman); sister-in-law, Kathy Peters. His funeral will be 1pm Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm to 8pm on Wednesday and after 10 am Thursday.
