Thomas "Tom" Scott Devoe, 70, of North Las Vegas, Nevada died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Gary Cadwell will officiate with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Devoe was born on September 15, 1942 in Michigan and was the son of Robert Devoe and Violet Archer Devoe, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He was the owner of his own landscaping business and the owner of Santa’s Village, both in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Devoe is survived by his wife, Linda F. Kinnett Devoe of North Las Vegas, Nevada; one son, Mike Devoe of Owosso, Michigan; four daughters, Chris Long of Franklin, North Carolina, Marilyn Chamberlin of Tampa, Florida, Joann Archambault of Owosso, Michigan and Kimberly Seward of Tampa, Florida; one brother, Gib Devoe of Kettle Falls, Washington; 13 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
