Worcester – Edwin Mitchell, 80, of Worcester, died in peacefully in his home on Monday, July 15th with his family by his side.
Mr. Mitchell was married to Jeanette R. (Rene) Mitchell for 59 years. He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Mitchell and his wife Donna of Spencer and Bruce Mitchell of North Carolina; two daughters, Sandra Mines and her husband Timothy of Worcester and Linda Roach of Texas; a sister, Dorothy Clemons; many grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Ed was born in Lansing, Illinois son of the late, Francis and Dorothy (Holder) Mitchell and is also predeceased by two sons, Stephen and David Mitchell and three brothers and a sister.
Mr. Mitchell is a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for Cornerstone Management Company for 12 years and previously worked as a machinist for many years at Holden Plastics in Worcester.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
