Lucille E. Castonguay, 96, of Walpole, died July 15 in the Clark House in Westwood.
Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on April 15, 1917, the daughter of the late Fernando and Lumina (Turgeon) Castonguay, Miss Castonguay was raised in St. Johnsbury and had lived in Walpole since 1942.
Miss Castonguay had worked in the records department of the Massachusetts Prison System for over 20 years before retiring.
She had previously worked for Charles Peters C.P.A. and Spear Hardware in Walpole.
Lucille was an avid reader.
Sister of the late Yvette Shore and Sylvia Carr, she is survived by her nephews, Francis Shore of Walpole and Stephen Shore of St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
She is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews and 15 great-great grandnieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20 in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main Street, Walpole at 1:00 p.m.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00-1:00.
