Aline Stephens, 79, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Stephens was born August 30, 1933, in Fitzgerald to the late Frank and Florence Fountain Williams. She was a former resident of Tifton and she had lived in the community most of her life. She was a former employee of Shoney’s and the Waffle House in Tifton and she also was a private sitter. She was of the Church of God faith.
She was survived by a daughter: Doris Mullis of Forsyth; a son: Emory Dorminey of Fitzgerald; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; a sister: Lillie Rathburn of Fitzgerald and a brother: Benjamin Williams of South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Stephens and one grandchild: Brandon Lee Dorminey.
