
Enfield, CT – Fernande A. (Magnan) St. Pierre, 92, formerly of Worcester, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, July 10th in the Little Sisters of the Poor – Saint Joseph’s Residence after an illness.
Mrs. St. Pierre was married to the late Arthur R. St. Pierre who died in 1962. She is survived by two grandchildren, Jonathan St. Pierre and Steven St. Pierre, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great/great grandchildren. Fernande was born in East Hereford, PQ, Canada, daughter of the late Charles and Marie Louise (Levasseur) Magnan. She lived most of her life in Worcester, MA. She is predeceased by her son, Robert A. St. Pierre, her grandson, Christopher St. Pierre, 3 brothers, Armand, Roland, and Albert and 4 sisters, Lillian, Alice, Noella and Rose.
She worked as a quality control technician for 24 years at the Astra Pharmaceutical Company before her retirement and also served as VP of the Astra Retiree Club. She enjoyed time with family and friends and spent countless hours creating drawings and paintings for all to enjoy. Her love, support, sense of humor and creative ability will be sadly missed by all.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church 353 Grove Street Worcester. Burial will be at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor 1365 Enfield St, Enfield, Ct.
