Interment services for longtime former Stoughton resident Herb N. Staples will be held on Saturday July 20, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. He passed away on March 8, 2013 at the age of 89 years in Palm Harbor, Florida where he and his wife Marjorie lived after Herb’s retirement from the town of Stoughton as the school department’s Electrician. He was a proud military man having served in the Army Air Corp during WWII.
He is survived by Marjorie, his wife of 64 years; his children, Joan Cromwell and her husband John of New Britain, CT and Donald Staples and his wife Diane of Stoughton; three grandsons, Daniel and Steven Staples, Jelani Dodson and one great-grandson, Steven Staples Jr.
All who knew Herb and his family are invited to this service to celebrate his life. He was one of the “really good” guys.
