M. Celia (Pace) McCrocklin
July 19, 1918 to July 7, 2013
On July 7, 2013, Myrtle Celia Pace McCrocklin passed away in Pendleton, Indiana.
Her life began in Springfield, Ohio on July 19, 1918. Though we mourn her passing from our lives, we celebrate her joining her beloved husband Carlisle H. McCrocklin in heaven. He completed her life on earth for many happy years and now will again.
Celia was a loving mother and lived her life with a kind and generous heart, always doing something to help someone else. Her determination to accomplish a task was applied to membership in Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors, to volunteer work with Madison County Mental Health Association and the reading program with the City of Anderson Library, as well as, to supporting her daughters in their school activities, to her employment as a dental assistant with Merrill Hudson and later to her involvement with activities at Fall Creek Retirement Village and Rawlins House. She was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church and active in many church activities.
Celia was preceded in death by her parents Eugene F. and Carrie Elizabeth (Moore) Pace and her loving husband Carlisle McCrocklin and is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Wilkerson and Catherine Downs, son-in-law Rick Downs, three grandchildren, Tony Wilkerson; Deven Arnold and Stephanie Salizar; six great grandchildren, Asheley Marquez, Amanda Arnold, Andreaw Arnold, Allysonn Arnold, Jade Larsen and Eric Fisher; and one great-great grandson; several foster children and grandchildren.
A memorial service in honor of her wonderful life will be held at Noon on Thursday, July 11 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Kent Stookey officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until Noon.
Memorial contributions may be given to Fall Creek Christian Church.
