Age 47, of Green Tree, on Saturday, July 6, 2013. Beloved husband of Jennifer; loving father of William W. McLinden III; dear son of Katherine and the late W. Wayne McLinden; brother of Peter (Miranda) McLinden and Maureen McLinden; uncle of Mary Katherine, Earin and Rory. Bill was a beloved husband of Jen and father of Will. He was a man who loved his family beyond depths. Coaching High School football was his passion, changing boys into men, but never forgetting about his family. He touched more lives than he realized. Friends welcome Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Interment private.
