TEWKSBURY: Kenneth F. Patrick, age 61, a Tewksbury resident for 40 years, passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on Sunday, July 7, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband and soul-mate of Diane L. (Pitman) Patrick, with whom he celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on March 20.
Born in Boston on January 8, 1952, he was the son of Cecil Patrick and his wife Judy, who survive him, of Goffstown, NH and the late Mary (Hansen) Patrick.
Ken was raised in Wilmington, attended Wilmington schools and graduated from Wilmington High School in 1970.
Prior to his illness, he was employed by Shop-Aid, Inc. of Woburn, where he worked as a Warehouse Manager for over 30 years and was a valued employee, boss , and friend.
Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting, sharing funny stories, creating ULTIMATE holiday displays for all to enjoy, and most of all, spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren whom he adored.
In addition to his wife Diane, he is survived by one son, Brad K. Patrick and his wife Betsy of Woburn; two daughters, Melissa A. Engelken and her husband Carl of Tewksbury and Denise M. Centazzo and her husband David of Salem, NH; six grandchildren, Sarah & Joshua Engelken, Arianna & Gianna Centazzo, and Liam & Lily Patrick; one loving aunt, Joan Butler of Somerville; one brother-in-law, John Pitman and his wife Tammie of Billerica; his niece, Danielle Pitman of Chelmsford.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 10, from 4-8 p.m. in the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Thursday, July 11, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery.
