BROCKMAN - William Stone Brockman, 70, passed away Friday morning, July 5, 2013 at his Yulee, FL home.
He was born January 27, 1943 and moved to the Yulee area in 1988 from Jacksonville, FL. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was stationed in Pakistan with Air Force Intelligence in the early 1960's. Mr. Brockman enjoyed gardening, Florida Gator Football, the outdoors, fishing, reading, world affairs and political debates. He was a generous man and not judgmental, but accepting of others. He had a great sense of humor and was quite a story teller. Most of all, he was a devoted husband and father.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Brian.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sonja Brockman of Yulee, FL; two sons, Chad Brockman and Todd Brockman (Kelli), both of Yulee; a brother and sister in law, Richard and Katherine Brockman of Joplin, MO; and his grandchildren, Troy, Chase, Caden, Cassidy and Kelly.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home.
