Worcester – Josephine L. (Donahue) Baillargeon, 82, of Worcester, died on Thursday, July 4th in the Saint Francis Home with her family by her side.
Josephine was married to Richard E. Baillargeon for 45 years who died in 1994. She is survived by her 2 sons, Gerald P. Baillargeon and his wife Lynn of Worcester and Shawn M. Baillargeon and his wife Tina of Rutland; 2 daughters, Sharon A. Swisher and her husband Charlie, and Tracy A. Baillargeon all of Worcester; 3 sisters, Grace Kristolitis of Charlton, Marion King of Worcester and Geraldine Valna of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Timothy and Rose (Morrissey) Donahue and is predeceased by two sons, Richard Baillargeon Jr. and John P. Baillargeon; a daughter Rosemary Porier; a brother, Timothy Donahue Jr. and 4 sisters, Agnes Gagne, Theresa Dangredo, Margaret Degon and Rita Senior.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 9th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 8th from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
