Crosby V and his wife Paula E. of Peabody, Denise M. & Michael A. Crosby both of Winthrop. Brother of the late Kevin Crosby formerly of Winthrop. Cherished grandfather of Dante A. Mazzone, Dylan J. & Sienna G. Crosby. Loving uncle of James P. & Jarrett H. Crosby. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., WINTHROP, on Tues., July 9th. at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 8th. from 4-8 PM. John was a U.S. Navy Veteran, Vietnam. Late M.W.R.A. Waste Water Operator. John was the owner of the Northeast Yacht Brokerage in Winthrop, at the Atlantis Marina. John was a lifelong resident of Winthrop, graduate of Winthrop High School Class of 1965, and Newbury Junior College of Boston. John worked for the M.W.R.A. for many years and later retired in 2003. He was a longtime member of the Winthrop Yacht Club, Deputy Harbor Master for ten years, Past Commodore of the Circle Yacht Club in Boston, former Planning Board member and former member of the conservation committee and Harbor Management Committee.For guestbook and directions,see www.mauricekirbyfh.com
