Florence M. Sabourin, 77, of Warwick, RI died Tuesday July 2, 2013 at West Shore Health Center.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Simeon and Anna (Duval) Sabourin, she had lived in Cranston and Warwick for the past 27 years.
Florence had been a Sister of Holy Cross for 30 years and later was a holistic counselor who maintained her own practice in Warwick.
She was a graduate of Notre Dame College in New Hampshire and received two Masters Degrees, in social work and counseling, from St. Joseph's College in Connecticut.
She enjoyed visits from her family and friends and taking automobile trips.
Survivors include a sister, Claire A. Alves of Fairhaven; 13 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was the sister of the late Raymond, Oscar, and Gilbert Sabourin.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph - St. Therese Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
