Teresa M. Beksha - DeFilippo, 51, of Medway, died suddenly July 1 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Norwood, September 3, 1961, the daughter of Paul M. and Gloria J. (Fogarty) Beksha of Medway, Mrs.Beksha - DeFilippo was a lifelong Medway resident.
She was a 1979 graduate of Medway High School.
Teresa had worked in the kitchen at the Medway Country Manor for the past 10 years.
While working at the manor, in her spare time, she would visit and try to bring a little companionship and joy to residents who did not have anyone.
Teresa loved to sing and play the guitar.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her children, John DeFilippo of Worcester, Nicholas DeFilippo of Winchendon, Joseph, Charles, Jeremy and Michaela Garon of North Carolina.
She is also survived by her brother Paul M. Beksha, Jr. of Hampton, Virginia.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 8 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street in Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 5 -8 p.m. in the funeral home.
