Eileen T. Bono, 88 of Derry, NH died July 2, 2013 in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mrs. Bono was born in Medford, MA of April 21, 1925 a daughter of the late Angelo and Angelina (Piccolo) Volpe. She had resided in Derry since December 2012 formerly living in Andover, MA for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Nadeau of Flagler Beach, FL, and Marilyn Bono of San Diego, CA, two sons, Richard Bono and partner Barbara Sullivan of Derry, and David Bono of San Diego, CA, three grandchildren, Angela Lichtenstein, Joseph Bono and Nicole Bono, and also two great-grandchildren, Anthony Nadeau and Olivia Lichtenstein. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest P. Bono in 1977.
A calling hour was held on Monday July 8, 2013 from 1 – 2:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service followed at 2:00pm in the funeral home. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover, MA.
