Francis J. Parris, 84, formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday, Aug. 24th in Radius Healthcare of Millbury.
He leaves nieces and nephews, among them, his goddaughter, Cheryl wife of Stephen Dyer of Worcester. A sister, Rita Thibault, predeceased him.He was born in Worcester son of William H. and Elizabeth (Morin) Parris. He was a WWII Navy veteran serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre and went on to serve in the Air National Guard until 1955.
Mr. Parris was a self employed plumber for many years, before retiring.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling time will be Thursday, Aug.26, from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Hammond St.
