Gilmanton-----Doris E. (Clark) Pennock, 90, of 41 Bunker Lane, died at her home on Monday, July 1, 2013.
Mrs. Pennock was born February 16, 1923 in Epsom, N.H., the daughter of the late Samuel L. and Alice (Daniels) Clark. She had been a resident of Gilmanton for ninety years and had been employed at Klev Bros. Shoes.
Mrs. Pennock was a born again Catholic.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, James Pennock, of Gilmanton; five sons, Larry Miller, of Cleveland, Tennessee, Norman “Buzzy” Miller of Idaho, Denny Miller of Idaho, Wayne Miller and James Pennock of Laconia; three daughters, Elaine Fontes of California, Joy MacDonald of Connecticut and Winnie Martin of New Hampshire; eleven grandchildren, including her favorite grandchildren, Denny, Jr. and Ann-Marie; eighteen great grandchildren, including her favorite great granddaughter, Jillian; two great, great grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Fletcher, of Gilmanton Iron Works; five nieces and two nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pennock was predeceased by a son, John Pennock.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be held onFriday, July 5, 2013 at 10AM at the Smith Meeting House Cemetery in Gilmanton, N.H..
