JOSEPH F. PARKER of Weymouth, passed away on Monday, July 1st, 2013 after a long illness at the age of 58. He was born in Weymouth and attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Weymouth High School. Joe was a horseman by profession and pursued his lifelong passion of harness racing in many locations, including Florida, New Jersey, New York and Sweden.
He was the son of Stanley C. "Bing" Parker of Weymouth and the late Patricia A. (Coyle) Parker. He was the brother of Stanley P. Parker of Weymouth and Susan F. Iocono and her husband Gino of Somersworth, NH. Uncle of Ian Ream and Joshua Ream and great uncle of Liam Ream all of Somersworth, NH. Also survived by his cousins; Mary Boyle, George and Judy Clark, Amelia, Daniel and Jacob. He also leaves his best friends; Sam, Ross, Frank, Paul and Tommy. Joe especially loved and was devoted to his family and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass which will be celebrated on Saturday, July 6th at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
