Obituary

AMESBURY - Gregory M. Predki, 48, of Amesbury, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, following a long battle with Leukemia and surrounded by his family.

Born in Salem, MA he was the son of the late Ted M Predki Jr., and son of Kathleen M. (Parent) Demers and his step-father, Rene J. Demers, of Rockport, MA. He was a graduate of Peabody High School and lived in Peabody before moving to Amesbury 20 years ago.

Mr. Predki was employed as a Regional Customer Service Technician for Pitney Bowes for 28 years, servicing customers in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.

He loved spending time with his children and family, enjoyed all sports, was passionate about car racing had a huge interest in NASCAR and Sports Cards.

Besides his mother and step-father, he is survived by four children, Nicholas Predki of Amesbury, Kyle Predki of Brookline, Brandon Predki of Allston, Megan Predki of Exeter, NH, step-brother Justin Demers of Plaistow, NH, his girlfriend, Julie Lanchester of Salem, a brother, Brian Predki of N. Andover and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his father he was predeceased by his grandparents, Theodore M. Sr., and Winifred A. (Creamer) Predki and Leo A. and Elsie T. (Bettencourt) Parent.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10 AM from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church, North St., (Route 114) Salem at the Peabody line. Visiting hours are Tuesday, 4 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Jimmy Fund, C/O Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
