Judith A. Marcone (Dailey) age 72 of Canton passed away suddenly at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital June 28th. Born and raised in Canton, she graduated from Canton High School and was a lifelong resident of the town. She worked as a secretary for New England Insulation and PSI in Canton for many years before retiring. She loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises, trips to Aruba and Scotsdale, AZ and loved going to Old Orchard Beach with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards with her brothers and sisters and loved spending time with her 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. Beloved wife of John C. Mother of John C. Marcone, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Canton, Danny Marcone and his fiancé, Vesna Andrich of Scottsdale, AZ and Michael L., who passed away shortly after birth. Daughter of the late Rita (Powers) and Edward Dailey. She was also pre-deceased by her step father Henry “Mac” McCarthy. Sister of Edward “Buddy” Dailey and his wife, June of Stoughton, William “Billy” Dailey and his wife, Karin of Norwood, Jill Gross and her husband, Mark of Canton and the late Joseph “Skippy” Dailey and Jean Tuttle. Sister in law of Alta Dailey of Canton. Grandmother of Nicole, JC, and Matthew Marcone all of Canton. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Wednesday morning at 10:30.
