FALL RIVER… June (Whalley) Chouinard, 63, passed away at home June 28, 2013 following a courageous one and a half year battle with two primary cancers.
She was the wife of Donald Chouinard to whom she had been married for 42 years.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Robert and Olive (Potts) Whalley and had lived most of her life in Fall River.
She had worked in the healthcare field for over 45 years and was most recently employed as a Phlebotomist with Health First Family Care of Fall River before being forced to retire.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and many friends.
Survivors include her husband, 2 sons: Paul R. Chouinard and Timothy R. Chouinard both of Fall River, a brother Robert Whalley and his wife Cheryl of Assonet, 2 granddaughters: Brynn and Cora Chouinard, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Name Church, Hanover Street, Fall River.
