Mrs. Mary Claire (Marcin) Bozen, a resident of Andover since 1960 and beloved wife of the late Stanley A. Bozen died at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Thursday, June 27, 2013. She was 78 years old.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on September 7, 1934, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter P. and Emma (Boutin) Marcin. Mrs. Bozen's first love was her family. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and gardening around her home in Andover.
She will be very sorely missed by her loving son's and daughter-in-law; Mark A. Bozen of Methuen and Paul M. Bozen and his wife Connie Jellison of Ivins, Utah, brothers; John Charles and his wife Nancy Burns of Alexandria, Virginia and Paul Marcin of Point Judith, Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William “Billy” Marcin.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Monday, July 1, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was private.
