WORCESTER-Salorin "Sal" Lopez, Jr., 24, of 10 Newbury Street died Thursday, August 19th. He leaves his parents, Salorin Lopez, Sr. of Southbridge and Sylvia (Ramos) Navarro of Worcester, his daughter, Anasia T. Lopez of Worcester, 2 brothers, Omar Lopez of Worcester and Daniel Lopez of Southbridge, 3 sisters, Iris Delia Lopez of Ohio, Mariela N. Lopez of Southbridge and Imalay Navarro of Worcester, his maternal grandmother, Herminia Ramos-Perez of Puerto Rico and paternal grandmother, Auriapajita Lopez of Southbridge, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. His paternal grandfather, Nicomedes Lopez and maternal grandfather, Enrique Ramos predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, graduated from Doherty High School in 1999 and attended Rob Roy Academy for hair design. Mr. Lopez worked as a barber for All Star Styling for 10 years. He was a people person who was very well known and loved by the community.
The funeral is Thursday, August 26th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM in Iglesia De Avivamiento Fuente De Vida, 23 Coral Street. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours are Wednesday, August 25th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
