Doris M. (Green) Conway, 88, of Winchester formerly of Milton, Palm Springs, CA and West Harwich, died peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2013 after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John E. (Jack) Conway, Jr.
Doris was born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late James A. and Mary (McDonough) Green. She was a graduate of St. Gregory’s High School in Dorchester and El Camino Community College.
She was the loving mother of John E. Conway, III and his wife Christine of Winchester and Westport; James C. Conway of Tucson, AZ; Robert A. Conway and his wife Victoria of Hacienda Heights, CA; Mary C. Wickham and her husband Douglas of Cheviot Hills, CA; and Rosalyn C. Conway of Sandwich, MA; sister of Muriel McCarthy of Avon, MA and Jean Purcell of Milton, MA and the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:00 A.M.from the Potter Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, 945 Main Road, Westport, MA.
Interment will be private.
