Haverhill, Ma – Blanche A. (Guy) Bonneau, 88, a long time resident of Methuen, died Thursday June 27, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill with her loving family by her side. She was the widow of Arthur L. Bonneau, who died in 1983.
Blanche was born July 25, 1924 in Methuen the daughter of Oscar J. and Laura M. (Jerome) Guy. For many years she was employed as a Process Checker with AT&T of North Andover before her retirement in 1989.
Blanche was a former Communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Methuen before its closing and attended Saint Monica’s Church. She also was a former member of the 3rd Order of Mary.
She will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Cheryl A. and her husband, Brian Fitzpatrick of Methuen and Karen M. and her husband, Ronald Baillargeon of Pelham, NH, her son, Leon A. and his wife, Linda (Frederick) Bonneau of Methuen, her 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday at 11 o’clock at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Blanche’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the KENNETH H. POLLARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Monday from 4-8 PM.
