Obituary

EAST BRIDGEWATER - Robert P. “Bobby” Dubee Jr., 50, of East Bridgewater died Sunday at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston while waiting for a liver transplant. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Glover) Dubee.

Born March 4, 1954, in Brockton, he was a son of the late Robert P. Dubee Sr. and Barbara (Clapp) Dubee.

Raised and educated in East Bridgewater, Mr. Dubee was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Class of 1972, where he played for the East Bridgewater Viking’s football team.

He was a machinist for Murray Carver Company in East Bridgewater for 30 years.

Mr. Dubee was a New England Patriot’s fan and was an avid Harley rider.

He enjoyed riding his Harley with friends, gardening and time spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by a daughter Julia Lee Messex of East Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Chelsea Marie, Megan Nicole and Trent Lee; a brother, Michael Dubee; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater. Visiting hours are Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
