Yvette G. (Castonguay) Shore, 92, of Walpole, died, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Norwood Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Francis H. Shore who died in 1996.
Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on June 28, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Fernando and Lumina (Turgeon) Castonguay.
Mrs. Shore was a resident of Walpole since 1942.
Before her retirement, she worked at Kendall Mills in Walpole for many years and had formerly worked as a cafeteria worker in the Walpole Public Schools.
Mrs. Shore was devoted to her family and cherished time spent with them.
She is survived by two sons, Francis Shore of Walpole and Stephen Shore of St. Johnsbury, VT, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and her sister Lucille Castonguay of Walpole.
She was the sister of the late Sylvia Carr.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, July 1 from 4 - 6p.m. in the Ginley Funeral, 892 Main St. in Walpole (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m.
Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery in South Walpole at a later date.
