
Worcester – Mary (Ghiz) Paquin, 87, of Worcester died on Thursday, June 27th in Saint Vincent Hospital after a short illness.
Mary was married to the late Wilfred Paquin and is survived by her three sons, Francis Paquin and his spouse Arsenio Luz of Charlton, Gerald Paquin of Worcester and Ronald Paquin of Worcester; two daughters, Gayle Delisle of Millbury and Carol Paquin of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Mary was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Samuel and Julia (Astifan) Ghiz and has lived in Worcester her entire life she is predeceased by a daughter Linda Paquin – Dubois and her siblings, Ida Pinto, Sally Salazar and Richard Ghiz.
Mrs. Paquin enjoyed many things in her lifetime, but was most happy when she was playing bingo.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 10 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 before the funeral service. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary, may be made to St. John’s Church Food for the Poor 44 Temple Street Worcester, MA 01604.
