Marjorie (Webb) Daigle, 84, of Fall River, peacefully passed away at home with her family by her side on Saturday, June 22, 2013. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Daigle.
Mrs. Daigle was the daughter of the late Edwin C. and Helen (Lund) Webb and had resided in Fall River for over 40 years. She was born and raised in Westport, played Varsity basketball for Westport High School and graduated with the Class of 1946. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, bowling, Horseneck Beach, clamboils and was known for her cooking. She adored her 2 dogs Sushi and Sasha and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her 3 sons: Mathias Daigle of Fall River, Robert D. Daigle and his wife Catherine of Plainville, MA and David A. Daigle and his wife Michelle of Norfolk, MA; 5 daughters: Linda Mackenthun and her husband Donald of MN, Deborah A. Kipp and her husband William of Lakeville, Gail Daigle and her husband Robert D. Simoes of Fall River, Karen Niedzalek and her husband Douglas of Fall River and Christine Fitzgerald of Tiverton; 2 sisters: Janet Parker of CA and Caroline Johnson of PA; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Natalie Webb, Edith Rodrigues, Kenneth Webb and Donald Webb.
