Dennis M. Dorgan, 65, of Hanover, died Saturday June 22, surrounded by his loving family, at home. He was the beloved son of Bernice (Dupree) Dorgan and the late Lawrence F. Dorgan, Sr.
He has been a lifelong resident of Hanover and attended Hanover Schools. Dennis worked for the Teamster’s Local # 25 for 25 years and presently he worked for ABC Movers as a truck driver, before his illness.
Dennis was a longtime member of the South Shore Street Rods and has won numerous awards for his 31 Ford Coupe. He was an animal lover and has had many pets over the years. Dennis’s greatest joy was his motorcycle, his hot rods and especially his family and friends.
In addition to his mother Bernice, he is survived by his brothers Lawrence F. Dorgan, Jr. of Hanson, Brian Dorgan of Sagamore, his sister Sylvia F. Isaacson of New Jersey; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His memorial service will be held on Thursday June 27th at 7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte 58@ the rotary ) Whitman. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service from 5:00-7:00PM.
