SALEM – James G. Brown, 64, of Salem, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Salem Hospital after being stricken at his home.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Bennie Brown and Mildred McDonough. He graduated from Peabody High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Westfield State College.
Mr. Brown was employed as a Federal Police Officer at the Federal Reserve in Boston for over 30 years.
He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Brown, one son, Jacob Hudson, two grandchildren, Eric and Haley, two sisters, Donna Curtin and Elaine Snow, one step-brother, Thomas McDonough, a step-sister, Jacqueline Sherwood and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Funeral services are private.
