Marian E. (Juby) Marshall, a 2 year resident of The Gables in Winchester and a former 65 year resident of Somerville, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Winchester Hospital following an extended illness. She was 85 years old.
Marian was born in Charlestown on May 4, 1928, the only child of the late Harold F. Juby and Marian E. (Tuttle) Juby. She was raised in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Charlestown High School. Marian worked several jobs in the Somerville area during her lifetime and was a dedicated volunter at Somerville Hospital and was a member of the Somerville Hospital Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed reading and traveling and her most enjoyment was spending quality time with her entire family.
Marian is the beloved wife of the late Edward S. Marshall. She is the devoted mother of Jack Marshall and his wife Lois of Reading, Judy DeMarco of Burlington and the late Ed Marshall. She is the loving Grandma to 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marian's visiting hour on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 9 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Woburn.
