SHEA, George C., of Winthrop, formerly of Boston, passed away at the Bear Hill Nursing Care Home on June 19, 2013. He was 71. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen F. (Fava) Shea. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John and Julia (Clifford) Shea. Devoted father of Patrick Shea of Revere and Colleen Shea of Lynn. Loving brother of Sheila Sullivan of Canton, Frances Pollina of Winthrop and the late Maureen Romano, Daniel Shea and John Shea. A Graveside Service with U. S. Army Funeral Honors will be held in the Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section) on Thurs. July 18, at 1pm. Please go directly to the cemetery. Funeral Arrangements are in the care of the Maurice W.
