Renate (Krause) Moloney age 78 of Hamilton died on Saturday evening, June 15, 2013, at her home in the company of her loving family, following a long illness. She was the loving wife and best friend of Michael J. Moloney whom she married in 1959.Born in Poland on February 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Margaretha (Busse) Krause. The Moloney's had lived in Brockton for 14 years before moving to Hamilton in 1978.
Renate was a person of extraordinary dignity, embracing the joys of her life with enthusiasm and the challenges with courage. Her greatest pleasure came from her roles of wife, mother to 4 daughters and grandmother to 5 grandchildren.
Among her many qualities was her natural ability to exude the same graciousness to longtime friends or social acquaintances she had just met.
She will be forever missed by her loving family, including her husband Mike, her 4 daughters, Susan Ann Blackmon of Taunton, Carol I. Moloney of Canton, Renee L. Schexnaildre of Meredith, NH and Sandra J. Van De Weert of Castle Rock, CO, her 5 grandchildren, John, Ryan, Stephanie, Skylar and John David as well as her extended family and many friends. She was the sister of the late Harry Krause who lived in E. Germany.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit her the family from 11:00am until noon Tuesday June 18, 2013 at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham, 149 Asbury St. So. Hamilton followed immediately by Funeral Service at noon. In keeping with her wishes, the burial is private.
