TAUNTON – William Costa, Jr., husband of Linda J. (Haras) Costa died on June 13, 2013 at his Taunton home, surrounded by his family following a long battle with cancer.
He was 57.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late William and Gladys (Bragga) Costa.
He grew up in Dighton, graduated from Dighton Regional High School, and later attended Roger Williams University.
Employed as a District Manager for Market Star for the past 5 years, William was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He enjoyed golfing and grilling and loved his job.
In addition to his wife of Taunton, he leaves a son, Nicholas Stillman of Taunton; two daughters, Ashleigh Costa of Taunton and Jordan Stillman of Jamaica Plain; a sister, Donna Cunha and her husband Wayne of Berkley; a nephew, Chris Cunha of Berkley; two nieces, Tracey Hill of South Yarmouth and Ashley Powers of West Milbury; his in-laws, Donald and Sarah Haras of Sudbury; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, June 18th at 11a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 17th from 5 to 8 p.m.
