Rose “Rosie” Pennelli, 93 of Medford, died Tuesday after a brief illness in the Arnold House Nursing Home, Stoneham, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford for the past 57 years and was formerly of East Boston. She was the daughter of the late Angela (Santorella) and Gabriel Soldano.
Rose was a Lunch Mother at the Columbus School and at the former Dame School in Medford for over 50 years. She was a proud Choir member at the former Sacred Heart Parish in Medford and was very active in parish activities.
Beloved wife of the late Vincent F. Pennelli. Devoted mother of Ann Patten of Medford. Loving grandmother of Brian Patten of Foxboro. Loving great grandmother of Macy Patten of Newton. Sister of Theresa DiNapoli of Medford and Frank Soldano of Quincy.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD on Saturday, June 15 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
