Anthony Bela Farkas
Augusta, GA – Anthony Bela Farkas, 42, entered into rest June 10, 2013.
Anthony was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a loyal lover of wayward animals, especially Holiday, Pumpkin and Scruffy. He loved his career as a software developer for Ipswitch, Inc. He had diverse interests including history, backpacking, music, the Atlanta Falcons and debating politics. He was also an avid reader of many types of books.
He is survived by his mother: Petronella Farkas of Augusta, GA; sister: Monica Epperson (Travis) of Peachtree Corners, GA; nephew: Carter Epperson; niece: Ansley Epperson; cousins: Christopher Rath, Alison Sharpe, Caroline Rath; and aunt: Helga Rath. He was preceded in death by his father, Vince Farkas.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Sid Gates officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Mrs. Farkas’ home, 1148 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904.
Honorary pallbearers include: Christopher Rath, Stuart Rayburn, Jeff Kennedy, Matt Flynn, Matt Trainor, John Wespy, Russell Foster, David Easley, Dwight Inman, Wesley Rogers and Will Anderson.
